Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapy
Our Specialist Physiotherapist has experience with all paediatric physical and neurological conditions and works closely with our Extended Scope Physiotherapist to provide holistic therapy to patients on our caseload. This may include patients with severe global developmental delay, brain or spinal injury or delayed gross motor development of any kind or severity. Respiratory Physiotherapy
Our Respiratory Physiotherapist specialises in holistic assessment in order to identify all influences on respiratory function, and thereafter making recommendations to address every aspect. This may include tonal presentation, gut motility and bowel function, postural influences, complex airway issues and many more. From there a variety of prophylactic measures can be introduced with the goal of avoiding unnecessary hospital admissions, improving quality of life and prolonging wellness. Paediatric Dietetics
Our Highly Specialist Dietitian has a wealth of experience with children and adults receiving or needing enteral nutrition. He has a passion for the care of patients which complex neuro-disability and is a leader in relation to blended diet. His specialist assessment can help with symptoms of reflux, diarrhoea and constipation and he is able to provide either complete nutrition solutions, or resources and training for families wishing to introduce blended diet, or a combination of the two where appropriate. Complex Nursing
Our nurses can provide full nursing assessments, assistance with care plans, or intervention for specific issues such as skin problems. They are also available to provide training in relation to all nursing functions such as gastrostomy awareness, tracheostomy awareness, ventilation awareness, tissue viability care and any other function required.
Support Worker Training
We offer training for support workers and family members where appropriate to ensure patients can have the proper support available when necessary
